Our activities started in 1939, with Albert Pattyn. First, he attended classes at the drawing and painting school. Shortly afterwards he started his own one-man business in Sint-Eloois-Winkel. Decorating business Pattyn was born.
After the war, the firm became nationally famous, for instance, due to the heavy investments in equipment. Even then, Pattyn already performed private, public and industrial blast and paintworks. In those days most of the work was done in West-Flanders, until Pattyn became also increasingly more popular in other regions.
And from then on the ball really started rolling. Also the son of the founder, Ronny Pattyn, became interested in continuing the activities. The name of the decorating business afterwards changed into the Pattyn Albert and Cie NV. And later grandson Pedro Pattyn joined the family business.
Since 1997 the company has been based at the industrial estate Gullegem-Moorsele in the municipality of Wevelgem. Headed by Pedro Pattyn, today the decorating business has more than 30 employees. The firm is synonymous with top quality paintworks.
Member of the Construction Confederation – Young Flemish Contractor 2016
Decorating business Pattyn is a member of the Construction Confederation. In 2016, we were also honoured as Young Flemish Contractor 2016 for the province of West-Flanders.
